This is a blog about my twins, Robert Jameson and Annaleigh Faith. I created this blog so that family and friends can experience updates about their daily lives, view new pics, and stay connected to us.
Robbie and Anna were born three weeks early on October 21, 2009. I had developed pre-eclampsia, so an emergency c-section was performed after attempts to induce labor were unsuccessful.
Robbie was born first, at 5:45am. He weighed 4 lbs, 8 oz and had to stay in the NICU for the first two weeks of his life. Although he was breathing well on his own, he did need a feeding tube, and had to have a bit of help keeping his body temperature stable.
Anna was born immediately after Robbie, at 5:46am. She weighed 5 lbs 11 oz. Though not very big, she was alert and healthy and didn’t need to spend any time in the NICU.
The first few months with twins was very difficult. The first six weeks in particular I think I cried every day, usually for no reason other than exhaustion and stress!
I never thought I would have twins, but I do, and I feel so blessed! I couldn’t be happier to have two wonderful babies, a boy AND a girl, and an amazing family and friends who help and support me.
This blog is just a glimpse into our wonderful, yet hectic, lives!!
